It’s Time: Schedule This Important HVAC Service Today!
Monday, March 22nd, 2021Slowly but surely, temperatures are starting to trend upwards, with the start of spring officially here. That said, now is a good time to think about scheduling one very important service for your air conditioner: Maintenance.
Perhaps you think since your air conditioner didn’t have any trouble running last summer, you can skip a tune-up this year. We urge you to reconsider, though. Each year your air conditioner goes without maintenance, it loses efficiency and you increase the risk for sudden repair needs.
Read on as we uncover why annual maintenance is so important to your cooling system.

“What Can I Do to Protect My Air Conditioner This Winter?”
Monday, October 19th, 2020With the official start of fall behind us, temperatures are beginning to cool down now. Chances are, you’re using your air conditioning system less and less.
Hopefully that also means you’ve taken the opportunity to schedule your heater maintenance, ensuring that your furnace, heat pump, or boiler is prepared to operate safely and effectively this coming winter. But before we get there, we don’t want you to just completely forget about your air conditioner. While it may not need maintenance again until next spring—assuming you had maintenance done last spring, that is—your cooling system does need some attention before winter hits.
“Winterizing” your air conditioner protects the system. It’s not complicated to do either! Proper care will protect this system from possible damage, it will extend its lifespan, and it will ensure it has no trouble operating when you need it next. Read on to learn more!
AC Compressor Failure: Repair or Replacement?
Monday, August 10th, 2020Over the years, as a natural result of wear and tear, you’re going to deal with AC repair needs. Particularly since our air conditioners work so hard in this climate. You’ll likely find yourself needing motor bearings lubricated, fan belts replaced, and maybe even refrigerant and ductwork leaks repairs. Fortunately, though, these are pretty simple fixes, and you’re less likely to run into a problem if you stay on top of your routine AC maintenance, too.
There’s one repair need in particular, however, that’s especially unpleasant to face, and that’s a broken down or damaged compressor. When it comes to most other AC components, replacing the component itself is usually the best option. But this isn’t always the case with a compressor–the heart of your air conditioner. Sometimes it makes more financial sense to replace the whole air conditioning system! Wondering why? Read on.
