Technologically Advanced

Technology—having an understanding of it and a commitment to it—is critical for companies today in the heating and air conditioning industry. Expectations in regard to energy efficiency and environmental responsibility require far more now of an HVAC technician than used to be the case. No longer can one just drop in a piece of equipment and expect it to operate up to standards.

Our entire staff at Canella Heating & Air is committed to stay on the leading edge of technological competence and to sell and install equipment that reflects the best of current technology.

Products
The products we feature have been carefully selected as being the most advanced technologically in the industry. Each piece is state-of-the-art in the industry for its price point in terms of materials used and equipment operation. Take a few minutes and browse through our product line to see what we mean!

Knowledge and Education
One can have the best equipment, but if it is not appropriate for the house or if it's installed improperly, performance will be disappointing. Our field and service technicians are not only trained to be thoroughly knowledgeable about he equipment, but they are also trained to evaluate the environment in which the equipment will function.

To become one of the Canella team, each employee must already have outstanding qualifications. But we don't stop there. Our employees must also continually improve their knowledge and skills. Every three years they are expected to achieve the next higher level of certification in their field. Our field and service technicians all hold NATE certification, a rigorous study and testing program that only the best HVAC workers are able to claim.

Processes
From our sales staff to our service technicians, all have been trained to follow carefully-developed processes that provide the ultimate customer experience and ensure proper installation of equipment. These processes can give you confidence that corners won't be cut and that manufacturer's specifications are conscientiously followed.

Affiliations
On our Affiliations page, you can see the organizations and associations to which we belong. Each one of the trade associations among that group is dedicated to promoting professionalism and education among its members. We take full advantage of the opportunities provided and at times have found ourselves in leadership positions. A recent example is the years that Craig Canella served as chair of the Education committee of the Home Builders Association of Hickory-Catawba Valley and brought a consciousness of "green" building practices to the building professionals in this area.
