As Craig Canella looks back over the past 20 years of the development of this company from being a small one-man shop to the best heating and air conditioning company in the Hickory-Catawba Valley area, he smiles. “I really enjoyed it. I did it all hands-on. Everything was built from the ground up with my personal touch on it.” With his personal involvement in the company and example, he finds it a whole lot easier to ask his employees to get the training they need and to perform at top-notch levels.

From the beginning it has been a family-oriented company. Only one year after Craig began working on his own, he married Tracy in 1990, they bought a van and started the business in a small building in Bethlehem, N.C. After 4 years they moved to a larger facility in Hickory, where the business continued to grow—and Craig‘s brother, Curtis, joined the company. In 2001 they had outgrown those facilities, so they purchased land and built their current building off Old Hwy 70 in Conover, N.C.
In 2005 the company was restructured, dropping its commercial side, so that it could focus on “giving an outstanding experience to the residential customer.” Craig now describes his passion for the company in terms of his customers, “I want our clients to be wowed. I want them to have an experience that is so phenomenal that they can‘t wait to tell someone about it.” This is the kind of relationship you'll never have with a franchised company.

Now in 2011 we have seen massive changes in the country's economy, but we as a business continue to stand strong and our mission hasn't changed. Our main focus this year is on continuing to provide exceptional customer service and to provide the highest possible quality maintenance services on the equipment you have purchased from us. If you are needing new equipment, this is a year of opportunity. Tax credits and rebates will help you save thousands of dollars off new equipment that is more energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
